Welcome to the Ian Colleran Golf Academy

The Ian Colleran Golf Academy provides expert Golf tuition and an exceptional Custom Fitting Service to help all levels of players to enhance their golf game. Ian was appointed as Head PGA Professional to the Newcastle West Golf Club,  near the village of Ardagh,Co.Limerick, in 2016. He offers a variety of golf tuition deals  and packages suitable for both beginners and Improvers aswell as a Flight-scope distance gapping session to help identify swing distance.The teaching facilities are first-class. 

The Newcastle West Driving Range

The 7 bay driving range is floodlit and the teaching bay is equipped with the latest technology in video analysis. The practice area contains an 18 hole putting green, bunkers and a chip and run facility expertly designed on different levels with options for numerous pin positions.

Trackman Simulator Facility

A year-round golf simulator Facility, powered by Trackman, utilizing dual radar technology where you can play over 180 championship golf courses. This can be done in the comfort of our new indoor trackman facility here at Newcastle West Golf Club. A fantastic opportunity to keep your game in tune during the winter months while playing golf with your friends. Trackman lessons are also available including gapping sessions, combine tests and wedge play improvement.

Golf Shop 

The Golf Professional shop is fully stocked with the  latest brands in Mens, Ladies and Junior Golf clothing including Ping, Footjoy, Adidas, Proquip and Calvin Klein. You will also find a wide variety of Golf equipment and accessories including brands such as Titleist, Ping, Wilson, Callaway and TaylorMade.

This can be done in the comfort of our new indoor trackman facility here at Newcastle West Golf Club.
