The Ian Colleran Golf Academy provides expert Golf tuition and an exceptional Custom Fitting Service to help all levels of players enhance their golf game. Ian was appointed as Head PGA Professional to the Newcastle West Golf Club, near the village of Ardagh, Co. Limerick, in 2016. He offers a variety of golf tuition deals and packages suitable for both beginners and Improvers as well as a Flight-scope distance gapping session to help identify swing distance. The teaching facilities are first-class.

The Newcastle West Driving Range

The 7 bay driving range is floodlit and the teaching bay is equipped with the latest technology in video analysis. The practice area contains an 18-hole putting green, bunkers, and a chip-and-run facility expertly designed on different levels with options for numerous pin positions.

Ian provides Golfers with an expert Custom Fitting Service to ensure you are playing with the correct equipment to suit your style.

Indoor Trackman Simulator

Would you like to play worldwide courses including Adare Manor, Royal Portrush, St. Andrew’s, Medinah and Wentworth? This can be done in the comfort of our new indoor trackman facility here at Newcastle West Golf Club. A year-round golf simulator Facility, utilizing dual radar technology where you can play over 180 championship golf courses. A fantastic opportunity to keep your game in tune during the winter months while playing golf with your friends. Trackman lessons also available including gapping sessions, combine tests and wedge play improvement. We also custom fit using trackman for brands such as Taylormade, Callaway and Ping.
